Introduction

This error occurs when JetEmail’s virus scanning system detects malware, viruses, or other malicious content in an email attempting to be sent through our SMTP servers.

What Does This Mean?

Our security systems detected potentially harmful content in your email or its attachments. For security reasons:

  • The email has been permanently deleted
  • The content cannot be recovered
  • You will need to recreate and resend the email

How to Fix This Error

  1. Check your computer for viruses or malware
  2. Scan any attachments you intended to send
  3. Recreate the email without the infected content
  4. If you believe this is a false positive, contact our support team with the message ID from the message

To avoid this error in the future:

  • Keep your antivirus software up to date
  • Scan files before attaching them to emails
  • Avoid sending executable files or scripts
  • Be cautious when forwarding content from unknown sources
